Ready to unlock your creativity?
Creativity is the capacity we all have to bring things into being — and it's one of our most powerful tools, especially in uncertain times.
But for many of us, our relationship with creativity can be... complicated.
The Creativity Deep Dive is a small-cohort intensive for leaders and established professionals ready to connect to and explore their creativity, and build creative intelligence at work.
We’ll explore what creativity is, how it works in our brain, and how we can develop it in ourselves and others.
The creativity deep dive
A small-cohort intensive to unlock your creative brain
who it’s for
This programme is for leaders and established professionals in any field.
You don’t have to be ‘a creative’ or work in a creative role. You don’t even need to feel creative at all right now.
This programme will offer space to grow and unlock new thinking, especially if you’re:
Feeling stuck or facing into uncertainty. Change of any sort is a creative process, and this work will help you meet it with energy, courage and imagination.
Looking to expand your capacity for complex problem solving and your ability to ignite creativity in your team or organisation.
Wherever you’re at, we’ll work compassionately to understand, connect with and build your creative capacity.
But you do need to be ready for deep work. This is an intensive programme — designed to challenge and stretch you toward the creative, leadership and professional shifts you’re looking to make.
What is creativity?
Creativity is simply our ability to bring things into being — and it’s innate to us all as humans. We’re all using it, all the time, in every aspect of our lives.
Einstein called it “intelligence having fun”.
When we create, we engage both our critical mind and our imagination — and we build cognitive flexibility, focus, energy and inspiration.
It’s like cross-training for our brain.
I use the idea of creative intelligence to describe our ability to understand, connect to and work skilfully with our creativity — whatever our field of endeavour.
What we'll do together
Over the course of the Deep Dive, we'll:
Connect to and explore our creativity — lowering the stakes, connecting to our imagination and curiosity, and developing a deeper understanding of what our creativity is
Build our creative intelligence — expanding our capacity for complex problem solving, and our ability to ignite creativity in our teams and organisations
We'll do this work with a small cohort of peers — witnessing, learning from and supporting each others' creative development — and having fun while we do it.
The programme is hands-on. Creativity isn't something we can develop just intellectually — we need to experience it. So you'll be physically exploring your creativity and strengthening the brain/body connection.
The Deep Dive begins with a focus on reconnecting with our creativity. We'll:
lower the stakes and build a small, consistent creative practice
dive into what creativity is (and isn't)
connect to our imagination, and
deepen our curiosity
The second half focuses on building our creative intelligence at work. We'll:
strengthen our sense of creative agency
explore how we ignite creativity in others, and
apply the creative process to our most complex challenges
Group sessions delve into these themes, as well as the group's collective wisdom, experience and curiosity.
Format and how to join
The Creativity Deep Dive is designed to be delivered over eight sessions and can be structured to suit your group’s needs and availability.

About Kate
Hi, I’m Kate, an artist, creative leadership coach, and founder at Renaissance Lab.
But before that, I was a lawyer and leader who for a long time felt uncreative.
I reconnected with my creativity in my early 30s and it was a game-changer in my work and life. My brain changed. I felt clearer, more creative in my work, and more connected to my own perspective and agency.
Now over a decade on, I help leaders and professionals reconnect with their own creativity and build their creative intelligence — so we can use the full force of our creative powers to shape the world for the better.
